‘Woke’ Republican dethroned in Kentucky GOP primary as Trump tightens grip

Filmmaker Ami Horowitz discusses how Republican Thomas Massie has lost to Trump-backed Ed Gallrein in the Kentucky GOP primary, claiming it is the first of many fights between the “woke right” and the “normal right”.

“Whose house? Trump’s house … Massie, you just found out who runs the Republican Party, buddy. And it ain’t you, and your woke right friend,” Mr Horowitz told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“That was the first of kind of many fights we’re going to be having between the woke right and the normal right.”
