9 Trapped Inside Malfunctioning Lift In Karnataka Mall, Dramatic Rescue Caught On Camera
A tense rescue operation unfolded in Karnataka’s Shivamogga after nine people became trapped inside a malfunctioning lift at the Vishal Mart building following a technical fault.
Emergency personnel and fire officials launched an hour-long rescue effort to safely evacuate those stranded inside the stalled lift. Viral videos from the scene showed rescue teams using specialised equipment, including a cutter machine, to force open the jammed lift doors after multiple attempts.
All nine occupants were eventually rescued safely as firefighters and emergency responders coordinated the high-pressure operation.
