‘Being proud is not a sin’: Anti-migration rally defends patriotism against racism claims

UK Barrister and Broadcaster Andrew Eborn argues pride in British identity and concern over migration should not automatically be labelled racist.

Huge numbers marched against mass immigration and against the leftist government of Keir Starmer at the Unite the Kingdom rally over the weekend.

“People being proud of their country, being proud of their flag and so on, proud of their culture and rich heritage is not a bad thing,” Mr Eborn told Sky News host Rita Panhi.

“Being proud is not a sin, and being concerned about some real issues is also not racist and shouldn’t be dismissed on that sort of basis.”
