‘How dare he?’: Jane Hume blasts Jim Chalmers’ comments about small business owners

Deputy Opposition Leader Jane Hume responds to Treasurer Jim Chalmers’ comments about small business owners who are fearful of changes to trusts.

“Jim Chalmers has accused these people of avoiding their tax obligations. How dare he?” Ms Hume said.

“These small business owners get up every single day and worry about whether customers are going to walk through the door.

“Whether they’ve got the right employees in place, whether those employees are going to get paid next week.”
