South Africa’s unemployment crisis appears to be deepening.
The economy shed 345 000 jobs in the first quarter, with the official unemplyment rate reaching 32.7%.
The number of unemployed citizens to over 8.1 million.
The Department of Employment and Labour has what is called the Labour Activation Programmes to try and address the issue of joblessness, but is it working?
