Southwest bans robots after a humanoid takes flight

Southwest Airlines banned human-like and animal-like robots after a humanoid named Stewie travelled on a flight from Las Vegas to Dallas. The airline told CNN the updated policy was about safety concerns involving lithium batteries and was not triggered by any single incident. Correction: An earlier version of this video had the wrong date of the humanoid robot’s flight on Southwest Airlines. The date of the flight was May 7.
