The World Health Organization has declared the Ebola disease outbreak a public health emergency of international concern. As the outbreak continues to spread, the Congolese health minister has announced the opening of three treatment centres in the country’s east. Dr Manenji Mangundu is the Oxfam International’s DRC Director and joined The World’s Girish Sawlani from Bukavu in the country’s east. He says the rapid spread of the virus is very worrying because there is no vaccine for this strain.
