There are 403 domestic and family violence offenders for every 100,000 people in Australia, according to Australian Bureau of Statistics head of crime and justice statistics, Samantha Hall. And since 1989-1990, there have been an average of 49 female victims of intimate partner homicide each year. Advocate Jo Cooper tell 7NEWS not enough is being done to protect women in Australia.
