Tension between Israel and the UAE strains US relationship with the Middle East alliance

The US alliance with the Middle East has shown signs of strain following escalating tensions between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

The tension between Israel and the UAE follows concerns of a broader conflict with Iran, an analyst has revealed.

Initial tension was sparked after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced a “historic breakthrough” meeting with the UAE president.

The announcement revealed a meeting between Netanyahu and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The meeting came during a “secret visit” to Al Ain, the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs quickly denied that the meeting took place, following the announcement.

Middle East Institute analyst Natan Sachs spoke to Fox News Digital about the tension, asserting that “the stakes are high”.
