WC storms leave trail of deadly devastation
In Lwandle near Strand, the aftermath of last week’s storms in the Western Cape is still visible.
Some residents are staying in waterlogged homes, while others are trying to rebuild damaged structures following days of heavy rain and flooding.
At least eleven people have lost their lives across the province, while thousands more have been affected by widespread damage to homes, roads and other infrastructure.
