We are watching as President Donald Trump kicks off a summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. According to The Associated Press, the pair shook hands and chatted, with Trump patting Xi on the arm before they posed for pictures. The Great Hall of the People in Beijing featured giant red carpeted steps, where soldiers hung large American and Chinese flags for the occasion.
