Coles supermarket has been found guilty of misleading shoppers with fake discounts under its down-down campaign. A federal court judge ruled that the retailer had not kept products at higher prices long enough before marking them down, meaning the price promotions were not genuine discounts. The case was brought by the ACCC against the supermarket giant.
