President Trump arrived in Beijing on May 13 under heavy security ahead of a planned summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The meeting, scheduled for May 14, marks the first visit to China by a U.S. president in nearly a decade. Originally planned for March, the summit was postponed because of the ongoing Iran conflict. Discussions are expected to focus on trade, the Iran war, and U.S. arms sales to Taiwan.
