Mapaila: SACP welcomes ConCourt judgement on Phala Phala

South African Communist Party’s General Secretary, Solly Mapaila, says the party welcomes the Constitutional Court judgment on the Phala Phala matter.

The court ruled that the National Assembly’s decision not to refer the Section 89 independent panel report to an impeachment committee for consideration was unlawful and invalid.

Mapaila was speaking at the party’s commemoration of Chris Hani held at Acornhoek in Mpumalanga.
