Donald Trump sends chilling threat to Iran, warns ‘they will be laughing no longer’
US President Donald Trump has warned Iran “will be laughing no longer” after refusing to discuss its nuclear programme in its latest peace deal.
In a Truth Social post, Trump accused Iran of “playing games” following the regime’s “delay” tactics in peace negotiations.
Trump blasted former US president Barack Obama for sending “billions of dollars” to Iran, labelling him a “disaster” before roasting “sleepy” Joe Biden.
“For 47 years the Iranians have been “tapping” us along, keeping us waiting, killing our people with their roadside bombs, destroying protests, and recently wiping out 42,000 innocent, unarmed protestors, and laughing at our now GREAT AGAIN Country. They will be laughing no longer!” Trump wrote.
The Islamic Republic’s latest peace deal outlined that it would refuse to negotiate its nuclear and missile programme for the time being.
