Hantavirus scare hits the world’s most remote inhabited island | DW Shorts

British forces parachuted medical supplies onto the remote Atlantic island of Tristan da Cunha after a suspected hantavirus case was reported.
Officials said the suspected patient was a passenger aboard the cruise vessel Hondius, which visited the island in April. Urgent delivery was required due to the island’s isolation and lack of an airstrip.
