Russia’s internet restrictions hobble small businesses
Russia has this year cracked down on internet access, blocking mobile services, forcing millions to turn to VPNs and resulting in loss of business as part of what President Vladimir Putin’s opponents say is an attempt to shore up domestic control after four years of war.
Kremlin said internet restrictions are essential for national security and added that this is a temporary policy though there is no official date when it will end.
