Lack of power at school disrupting teaching


Parents of learners at Emoyeni Primary School in Mkhondo, Mpumalanga have raised concerns after the school’s electricity supply was cut off last year.

According to the School Governing Body, without electricity, the school does not have water because electricity is needed for the borehole to pump water.

This challenge has disrupted teaching and learning with learners going home earlier than they should…
