Polish PM warns of NATO ‘disintegration’ as Trump threatens troop withdrawal from Europe
Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk has sounded the alarm over the future of NATO.
He has warned the alliance risks “disintegration” from within.
The comments come as Donald Trump considers withdrawing US troops from Europe, a move that could reshape the continent’s security.
Tusk cautioned that any major US drawdown would weaken deterrence and embolden adversaries across the region.
“The greatest threat to the transatlantic community are not its external enemies, but the ongoing disintegration of our alliance. We must all do what it takes to reverse this disastrous trend,” Tusk said in a post to X.
