Farrer candidate backs skilled migration but raises cultural concerns

Liberal candidate for Farrer Raissa Butkowski highlights the need for skilled migrants in Australia, particularly in healthcare and the agricultural sector.

“But, we also do need to recognise that there are some people who do want to come to this country who don’t want to share the same culture and values that we as Australians have,” Ms Butkowski told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“Migration has impacts on local services, whether that healthcare, housing, schooling, so all of that needs to be taken into consideration.”
