Reserve Bank of Australia poised to lift rates again amid rising inflation

Sky News host Paul Murray details how the RBA is tipped to hike rates on Tuesday as inflation surges to 4.6 per cent.

“It would be the third that has happened this year,” Mr Murray said.

“The expectation that the problems that have been playing out in Iran, which have, of course, played into fuel.

“Don’t ever forget we had two of these interest rate rises, nothing to do with petrol, nothing to do with Iran … It’s Jim Chalmers and his economy.”
