‘Cry uncle’: Trump offers Iran an offramp after the US devastates its military
US President Donald Trump has commented on the ongoing conflict in Iran.
Trump’s comments come as the conflict enters its second month, with a fragile ceasefire between the US and Iran holding.
The president says the American blockade of the critical Strait of Hormuz is “genius” and “foolproof”.
Trump also gave Iran an out of conflict, by asserting the US would cease hostility only if the regime “cries uncle”.
