BMA, DHA move to modernise ports of entry

The Border Management Authority has introduced reforms aimed at strengthening border security, improving surveillance and upgrading infrastructure.

The measures are designed to combat illicit trade, prevent the use of fraudulent documentation and address non-compliance at ports of entry.

Home Affairs Minister Leon Schreiber made the announcement at a BMA media briefing in Pretoria.
