Schmitt talks ‘left-wing violence’

Cole Tomas Allen made his first court appearance on Monday as he faces multiple federal charges. Authorities say Allen opened fire at a Secret Service checkpoint, injuring an officer before being subdued; the officer is expected to recover. Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt was asked about the violence over the weekend alongside other GOP Senators, including Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.
