45 undocumented foreigners detained in Selangor immigration raids

A total of 45 undocumented foreigners were detained following simultaneous raids at eight locations across Selangor on Thursday (April 23), as part of efforts to intensify enforcement against employers who fail to comply with government policies on hiring foreign workers.

Immigration director-general Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said 88 individuals were inspected during the April 23 operation, which targeted employers who neglect or defy regulations governing the employment of foreign workers.
