Cops open probe into fireworks incident at ‘Tangkap Azam Baki’ rally
A police investigation has been opened into the fireworks incident during the “Tangkap Azam Baki” rally outside at Sogo shopping mall which caused brief panic among protesters.
Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Sazalee Adam said the incident, which saw a sudden explosion of fireworks at the back of the crowd during the earlier stages of the march on Saturday (April 25), would be investigated under Sections 6 and 8 of the Explosives Act 1957.
