SA Fashion Week spotlights sustainable talent
South African Fashion Week remains the cornerstone of the nation’s designer-led fashion industry, spotlighting innovative local talent amid a push for sustainability. Fundudzi by Craig Jacobs has also marked its return to the Fashion Week after a ten-year absence with a new collection titled There Is Nothing New Under the Sun.
Featuring old garments, repurposed offcuts, archived fabrics, and preloved accessories and shoes sourced from Woodrock Animal Rescue’s thrift store, the show literally and figuratively reimagines fashion’s future through mindful reuse. And joining us in studio now is Craig Jacobs and Jacqui Martheze.
