A serious commuter bus crash near the Pentagon in Washington, DC, has left 23 people injured after two public transit buses collided during the morning rush hour. The incident occurred near the Pentagon South Parking Lot and involved an OmniRide bus and a Fairfax Connector bus. Among those injured were several Department of Defense personnel, with emergency services quickly responding to the scene. Officials confirmed that 18 passengers were taken to hospitals for further evaluation, while others were treated on-site. The crash led to major disruption in transit operations, with road closures and delays across the area. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the collision as surveillance footage and witness accounts are being reviewed.
