‘Against community interests’: Activist group pour 600,000 dollars into Farrer by-election

Former Queensland premier Campbell Newman discusses activist group GetUp! pouring 600,000 dollars into the Farrer by-election.

“I don’t know how anybody in regional Australia could support a candidate being backed by them,” Mr Newman told Sky News host Steve Price.

“Taking that sort of, frankly, tainted money that’s against the interests of people in that community.”
