‘Defend your friends’: Canavan urges Albanese to ‘get on the same team’ as Trump

Nationals Leader Matt Canavan claims Prime Minister Anthony Albanese needs to get on the same team as US President Donald Trump.

“We’ve all just got to get on the same team, get on the same side, we need to realise what’s at stake here,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“When you’re in such a situation, you need to defend your friends; we want our friends to win.”
