A global crisis fuelling remote insecurity across Australia
As the global fuel crisis persists, the peak body for social services in the Northern Territory says rising costs are already preventing some frontline organisations from providing their full range of services in remote communities.
Northern Territory Council of Social Service chief executive Sally Sievers has called for “urgent relief” for those in remote communities who she said are being disproportionately affected by the fuel crisis.
