UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer was grilled in parliament after former official Olly Robbins testified there was an “atmosphere of constant chasing” to fast-track Peter Mandelson’s appointment as US ambassador. Starmer pushed back, insisting “no pressure existed whatsoever,” as opposition leaders accused him of bypassing proper vetting and called for accountability.
