China’s Netflix-style iQIYI is banking on a pivot to artificial intelligence to reverse its losses as short-form social video and bite-sized micro-dramas grab viewers’ attention. The company unveiled its “Nadou Pro” AI platform, which aims to replace human actors with their avatars starring in AI-created content.
