Teals and Greens are ‘anti-gas activists’ aiming to ‘rid gas from our system’ in new campaign
Deputy Liberal Leader Jane Hume warns of the Campaign being waged against the Petroleum Resource Rent Tax by the Teals and the Greens, as “they want to see gas removed from our system.
“The teals and the greens don’t really care about the tax that’s coming from gas, if they did, they’d want to see more gas produced, they don’t want to see more gas produced, they want to see gas removed from our system,” Ms Hume told Sky News Australia.
“They are anti-gas activists.
“This is a very clever campaign to reduce gas as a resource, whether it be for exports or whether it be for domestic use.
“The teals, as we know, are completely beholden to the renewable energy lobby … if gas exited the Australian energy system, they would be cheering on.”
