IRGC effectively ‘taken over control’ of Iranian policy amid negotiations

Sky News Defence Analyst Peter Jennings claims the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has effectively taken over control of Iranian policy amid negotiations.

“I think what we’ve seen in the last ten days or so has been that the Revolutionary Guard has effectively taken over control of overall Iranian policy,” Mr Jennings told Sky News host James Macpherson.

“They’re doing their best to sideline Mohammad Ghalibaf, who’s the parliamentary speaker.”
