Madlanga Commission | Mnisi makes reappearance at hearing

The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry has heard evidence that suspended City of Tshwane Chief Financial Officer, Gareth Mnisi, was referred to as the only “gateway to Gubis.”

Gubis 85 Solutions, a security company implicated in testimony by Gauteng Organised Crime Unit officer, Sergeant Fannie Nkosi, has come under scrutiny during the proceedings.

Evidence leader, Advocate Matthew Chaskalson, told the Commission that TMPD Deputy Chief, Umashi Dhlamini, sent a WhatsApp message to the CFO, saying that the only route for Gubis 85 Solutions was through Mnisi.

The Commission is investigating allegations of tender irregularities.
