US forces seize Iranian ship

An Iranian cargo ship was seized by US forces in the Gulf of Oman on April 20, 2026. The Iranian vessel Touska was trying to evade a naval blockade, when a US destroyer opened fire on it. The incident comes as Iran said it had no plans to take part in a second round of peace negotiations with Washington, citing unreasonable demands by the US.
