Malaysia to roll out B15 biodiesel in stages to protect fuel supply chain

Since its launch in 2023, the People’s Income Initiative-Agricultural Entrepreneurship (IPR-Intan) programme, overseen by the Economy Ministry, has accumulated approximately RM22 million in total revenue, according to Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir.

Focusing on the cultivation of produce such as chillies and cucumbers, the programme serves a dual purpose providing participants with a supplementary source of income while simultaneously bolstering the government’s mission to maintain a stable supply of the nation’s essential food commodities.
