‘They got a little cute’: Trump says Iran ‘can’t blackmail’ the US with Strait of Hormuz closure
US President Donald Trump claims Iran “can’t blackmail” the US following Tehran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz again.
“They got a little cute as they have been doing for 47 years – nobody ever took them on; we took them on,” he said.
“We’re talking to them. They wanted to close up the Strait again … and they can’t blackmail us.”
