Starmer braces for ‘seismic defeat’ as Labour slips to fourth in YouGov polls

Writer Esther Krakue says UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has got a “bloody nose coming” after Labour falls into fourth place in the latest YouGov poll, just weeks before local elections.

“The confidence in Reform, particularly around Wales, is quite staggering. It’s basically a two-man race between Reform and Plaid Cymru,” Ms Krakue told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“This is quite a shock to the system for Labour, which has never lost power in Wales.

“Labour is really anticipating a seismic defeat.”
