Retired Major General Gus McLachlan has told the ABC he finds Pete Hegseth “deeply troubling” as Donald Trump’s secretary of defense, and considers Hegseth the “least qualified” to step into the role over the span of his military career.
McLachlan has also warned against a US ground invasion of Kharg Island in Iran amid reports the White House is considering such an operation.
