Madlanga Commission | Commission will be conducted in three phases: Advocate Terry Motau
The Madlanga Commission officially got underway today, with Chief Evidence Leader, Advocate Terry Motau, presenting a detailed timeline of events leading up to the inquiry.
In his opening remarks, Motau clarified the circumstances that triggered the investigation, including allegations implicating several high-profile figures, among them Police Minister Senzo Mchunu and Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala.
Motau says the outcome of the investigation will have a bearing on whether there should be institutional reforms recommended to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Motau said the Commission will be conducted in three phases.
