US House Minority Leader and Democrat Hakeem Jeffries launched a scathing attack at Republicans in a press conference. Jeffries said House and Senate Democrats have been very clear that we will support a bipartisan spending agreement that meets the needs of the American people in terms of their health, public safety, and economic well-being. He added that the House Democrats will not support a partisan Republican spending bill that continues to gut the healthcare of the American people. He further called it a “dirty spending bill” and “unacceptable.” Jeffries also spoke on divisive rhetoric, political violence, and efforts to censure democratic member Ilhan Omar.
