‘Increasingly the case’: Political violence on the rise as open discourse collapses

Former Labor senator Graham Richardson discusses the “frightening” rise in political violence across the US following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

“I get pretty, I suppose, frightened by this violence,” Mr Richardson told Sky News host Rowan Dean.

“I don’t understand why it has got a place in politics; it never should have, but it seems to be increasingly the case.”
